Owlswick is a small rural hamlet which is part of the civil parish of Longwick Cum llmer and is in the ecclesiastical parish of Monks Risborough. The name appears in a document of about 1200 as Ulveswike meaning dairy farm. Today the hamlet is small but picturesque with a central private village green which has a mix of cottages and the Victorian St Peters Chapel and outstanding views of the nearby Chiltern Hills.
